Individuals are born with different traits such as race, gender, cultural heritage-often they embody these traits. Still, as individuals immigrate to other spaces and communities, all those traits start to fade, and this is where they begin examining those layers of who they are. However, for us to fully realize who we are, let us not be determined by the ideologies of what we must think or feel, let us not be bound by what is right and wrong, allow us not to be controlled by social labels. Let us express the reality and complexities of this unique identity. Let us construct our ideal home/identity.
